We are announcing another contest. This one has no entry fee and is really going to be fun. High Hill Press has decided to publish an anthology of ghost stories. They can be non-fiction, or fiction. The only real requirement is that they be spooky.
Publication of High Hill's Glimpse into the Lives of Ghosts and Goblins is set for August of 2011. After the book is out we will combine a book signing tour with a little High Hill ghost chasing. Book signings and readings will be done at haunted houses throughout the Illinois, Missouri and Arkansas area. For those who don't know, those three states have a large number of documented ghost sightings and spirit activities. Watch this page throughout the year for examples of what our anthology will hold. And in the meantime, light the candles, put on some spooky music, and write us a ghost story.

The editors at High Hill recommend that you send only your very best work. We like to see stories with a beginning, a middle, and an end. Stories that are compelling, character or plot driven, and written well. |
